Dashboard at a glance
After you sign in, taask.ai opens on the Dashboard. Along the top you get quick actions: Plan my dayasks the assistant to spread today's work across the calendar, shortcuts to Kanban, and a Commands palette (⌘K / Ctrl+K).
Below that, a row of metric cardssummarizes your load: open tasks, what's due today, total estimated minutes, completed work, how many items are in progress or scheduled, and a simple Momentumscore so you can see whether you're keeping pace.
Sidebar: where you navigate
The left rail is your home base. Inbox is the default task list. Today and Upcoming filter the same list by date so you can focus on what matters now or next. Kanban and Calendar open the other two main views; you also get quick jumps to common folders (like Work or Personal) and any folders you've created.
Task list
The main column lists your open tasks with priorities, estimates, dates, and folders. If the list is empty, the screen tells you to use the bar at the bottom: describe what you need in one go, and the app fills in priorities, times, and folders from that text.
The AI bar (bottom of the app)
The fixed bar is always available while you're in the workspace. Type normal sentences to create tasks from what you wrote — the app can also add subtasks when it makes sense. Press Enter to send (Shift+Enter stays on a new line).
Lines that start with / are treated as commands instead: for example you can ask for a day plan, a quick summary, or other built-in shortcuts. If your plan includes AI-heavy actions, usage follows the limits shown in Settings (free tier has a monthly cap; upgrading unlocks more headroom).
Board & calendar
Kanban shows the same tasks in columns by status so you can drag work forward. Calendar puts tasks on a timeline so you can see the day and adjust timing; planning actions from the dashboard tie into what you see there.
Settings & the rest of the shell
Settingsholds your profile, notifications, appearance, and optional AI key. Billing lives there too: you can see your plan, how much of the monthly AI allowance you've used, start checkout for Pro, or open the customer portal to manage a subscription.
Elsewhere in the shell you'll find occasional in-app feedback prompts and the same header and mobile tab bar so you can hop between Dashboard, Board, and Calendar quickly.
